I love this! It explains why writing first thing in the morning works well for so many. During sleep the brain is often already in a semi-creative state through dreaming, so we start off closer to our end goal.

Thank you for this! I get stuck inside a "room" so easily. Sometimes, I intuitively know a walk is helpful but this puts the theory into action and bring awareness of these states, love this.

I'm with you, there. I love "the transition is just as important as the self-expression" - I'm going to try to adopt it, as I dislike having to transition at all, too.
